Toyota TR010 Hybrid — the JOBARD Racing Hypercar livery on Le Mans Ultimate

June 7, 2026 · Livery · Le Mans Ultimate · Hypercar · TR010

JOBARD Racing reaches a new milestone: the race team unveils its Hypercar livery on the Toyota TR010 Hybrid, on Le Mans Ultimate. The premier category of endurance racing, in the team's colours.

TR010 or GR010? What has changed

The question arises every time the name appears. Until 2025, Toyota's Hypercar was known as the GR010 Hybrid — a "G" for Gazoo Racing, the sporting brand under which the manufacturer entered its cars.

On 7 January 2026, Toyota announced the transition from Toyota Gazoo Racing to Toyota Racing: Gazoo disappears from the name, and the car becomes the TR010 Hybrid. Technically, it represents an evolution of the GR010 Hybrid introduced in 2021 and reworked in 2022, with redesigned front and rear aerodynamic elements in particular.

Toyota published no detailed technical specification at the time of the announcement. Figures circulating regarding the power or weight of this evolution are therefore not supported by any official source — we will not reproduce any of them here.

What is certain: two TR010s are entered in the Hypercar category of the FIA World Endurance Championship and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

At the summit of endurance

The Hypercar category is the highest level of endurance racing — home to the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the WEC. Entering a house livery at this level signals a clear ambition: to compete with the best, on the most demanding stage.

The difference from GT3 goes beyond lap times. A Hypercar is a prototype: a closed bodywork designed for aerodynamics, continuous surfaces, none of the visual references of a road car. Where a Mustang GT3 offers volumes the eye recognises — a bonnet, wings, a roofline — the TR010 presents a single sweeping mass. Dressing one bears no resemblance to dressing the other.

The signature, elevated

White at the front, sand and gold at the rear marked with the house motif, black zebra stripes, red accents and a yellow nose: the TR010 takes up and intensifies the race team's chromatic signature. On the flanks, the number 76 bearing the Griffy griffin, and the JOBARD Racing mark — the same from one car to the next, from GT3 to Hypercar.

Moving up to the premier category called for two deliberate choices:

  • White at the front, sand at the rear. On a closed bodywork, a single colour flattens under the camera. The front-to-rear break restores legibility to the volumes and visually separates the nose from the engine cover.
  • Zebra stripes as a speed marker. They follow the airflow and remain legible in race footage, where a flat, solid colour disappears into motion blur.
A race team is defined by its consistency: the same griffin, the same palette, whether running in GT3 or at the very top, in Hypercar.

Custom liveries on Le Mans Ultimate

Le Mans Ultimate accepts custom liveries via two uncompressed TGA files: customskin.tga carries the design, and customskin_region.tga defines the materials — gloss, metallic, visible carbon.

The templates are supplied with the game, in the Support\LiveryTemplates folder of the installation. Completed files are placed in UserData\Liveries, reloaded from the built-in showroom to adjust the materials on the car, then submitted for validation. Once approved, the livery is assigned to a crew and used in online racing.

What comes next

The livery is ready on Le Mans Ultimate. The track, soon — live on the Twitch channel.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the Toyota Hypercar called the TR010 and not the GR010?

Because Toyota renamed its team from Toyota Gazoo Racing to Toyota Racing on 7 January 2026. The "G" for Gazoo disappears from the car's name, which moves from GR010 Hybrid to TR010 Hybrid.

Is the TR010 an entirely new car?

No. It is an evolution of the GR010 Hybrid introduced in 2021 and reworked in 2022, with redesigned front and rear aerodynamic elements.

In which championship does the TR010 Hybrid compete?

In the Hypercar category of the FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Toyota Racing enters two cars.

Is the JOBARD Racing livery available to download?

No. The race team's liveries are reserved for the cars it enters and are not distributed on any platform.

How does one add a custom livery on Le Mans Ultimate?

By preparing two uncompressed TGA files — customskin.tga for the design and customskin_region.tga for the materials — using the templates provided in the Support\LiveryTemplates folder, then placing them in UserData\Liveries, reloading them from the built-in showroom, and submitting them for validation.

What is the difference between a Hypercar livery and a GT3 livery?

A Hypercar is a closed-bodywork prototype: its surfaces are continuous and the eye finds none of the visual references of a road car. The division of colour zones must therefore recreate the reading of volumes on its own, where a GT3 can rely on a bonnet, wings and a roofline that are already identifiable.
