Roadmap — July 2026: three races, one accident, and we carry on

Our busiest month on track since the season began, and our most productive behind the scenes. Three endurance races, an accident we came back from, and tools that have stepped up to a new level. Here is the July 2026 roadmap, pole by pole.

On track

Imola marks our best result of the season. At Interlagos, the call was made before the lights went out: start on a wet setup, anticipating the clouds threatening São Paulo. The rain only arrived an hour from the finish, and too lightly to change the picture. It was a calculated gamble — it did not pay off, and we say so plainly.

Road America will remain the race of the month. A car stopped in the middle of the circuit pulls away at the very moment of passing: the contact sends the Corvette into the wall, and the car ends up on its roof. Seventeen minutes of repairs, a return to the track from 25th in category — and the race team saw it through to the end. Six positions recovered, 240 laps completed, 14 laps off the category winner. The car's fastest lap came after the accident. That may be the most telling figure of the month.

Behind the scenes

The centrepiece of July is our digital pit wall. Our in-house race tool has moved up a level: circuit map projected over the real layout, live standings, stint tracking in real time, fuel strategy, weather window, car and tyre status. Everything needed to manage an endurance race like a proper race team.

On the Academy side, our future training championship now has a face: complete visual identity, a reliable driver tracking tool, and a video training platform selected and installed. On paid content, we chose to suspend the range in preparation rather than release deliverables that would not have met our standard — work resumes on a more rigorous foundation.

The website has been thoroughly overhauled: the Racing page rebuilt with a calendar, team details, and results; a dedicated corporate page; a full audit covering speed, security, and navigation; and 15 of our domain names moved to secure connections. Two race reports have joined the Journal. On the community side, onboarding new members to Discord has been simplified, the Friday newsletter has kept its cadence, and our association's articles have been finalised. JOBARD Auto, meanwhile, is preparing the workshop and the video series dedicated to the restoration of the Ford Escort.

Looking ahead to August

Back on track with several endurance events in the calendar. Our driver training programme opens its doors, a first live masterclass is in preparation, a competition is on its way exclusively for the community, and the first episode of the Garage JOBARD series enters production.
