Thruxton: a difficult round, an honest assessment
May 31, 2026 · GT Endurance · iRacing
Thruxton, the fastest ribbon of asphalt on the British calendar, forgives nothing. For this eleventh round of the GT Endurance Series, JOBARD Racing fielded the Porsche 911 GT3 R on a format where the slightest imprecision carries a cost. This evening, the verdict is clear: P20.
An evening that never came together
There are races where everything falls into place, and others where nothing does. This round belongs to the second category. On a circuit that amplifies the smallest margin, the evening never found its footing, and the 911 was unable to challenge for the positions it was aiming for.
At JOBARD Racing, we do not oversell our results, and we name our setbacks plainly. Thruxton is one of them — time for analysis, without detour.
The result
- Finish: P20
- Circuit: Thruxton — the fastest on the calendar

What comes next
No embellishment: we debrief thoroughly with JOBARD Race Engineer — telemetry, pace, strategy — to understand where the evening was decided and correct course for the next round. The championship is long, and it is precisely in evenings like this that a race team is built.
